An organic flour mill, located in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Shipton Mill, renowned for its premium organic flour, commissioned me to create music for their social-media videos. The brief called for two distinct pieces: an upbeat jazz track for Instagram baking tutorials, and a more atmospheric composition for broader brand storytelling.

For the tutorials, I produced a lively 1930s-style jazz piece inspired by the golden era, with flowing saxophone lines to carry viewers through the baking process with energy and warmth.

The brand-video track drew on the mill’s rich heritage - the site is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. Using field recordings of the mill stream and surrounding gardens, I layered oboe and plucked strings to craft a traditional, elegant melody that evokes both history and place
